Admission

 GENERAL RULES FOR ADMISSION                            

Registration  
                                  
The applicant must be registered with MGD Girls' School to be considered for admission. Registration for all classes begins in the year preceding year of admission, usually from 1 November unless otherwise stated below.
 
Admission To Class I
 
THERE IS NO ENTRANCE TEST for admission to class I. Admissions are done strictly by draw of lots.
 
Registration for admission in Class-I only will be open from 15 January 2013 for the session beginning April 2013.

The minimum age for admission to class I is 5+ years as on 31st March 2013

 
Admissions: Other Classes
 
The number of seats in each class is very limited. Admission to students in other classes will be given subject to availability of seats.
 
Admissions to Class IX (boarders only) will be on the basis of an Entrance test in English, Science and Mathematics
 
  1. A girl once admitted as a Boarder is expected to continue as a boarder until the end of her schooling.
  2. THE PRINCIPAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADMIT OR REJECT ANY STUDENT.
  3. At the time of admission, the following documents are to be submitted to the School Office.
a.                  Original Transfer Certificate. (Where applicable)
b.              Original Birth Certificate along with a photocopy. (The Photo Copy will be retained in the School Office)
c.                   Medical Certificate(in prescribed form)
d.                  Certificate of SC/ST (if applicable)
e.                   Mark sheet of previous class passed
                             
Admission to Class XI
Admissions to class XI will be conducted in the month of June after the declaration of the CBSE SA2 results. Admission will be on the basis of the results of class X as well as a personal interview.
 
Withdrawal
Parents are required to give three months’ notice in writing of the intended withdrawal of a student. If such notice is not given full fees for 3 months will be charged.
Transfer Certificate will be issued only after all clearance formalities are completed including clearance of dues.
