On January 9th 2021 a group of humanities students from class 11th and 12th had the pleasure of witnessing a webinar pertaining to UPSC Civil Services Exam conducted by Mr Nagendra Pratap, the Director, Research and Innovation team’s member at Rau’s I.A.S. study circle, New Delhi. It was an insightful orientation for civil services aspirants.

New India Fit India for classes 6th-9th.
The program included-
•1st day(2 nd December,2020 )- YOGA, ??Students practised surya namaskar, Tadasan, Vrikshasan, Dhanurasan, Shavasan and Meditation.
• 2nd day(3rd December 2020)- AEROBICS
??Students practised physical exercises that combine rhythmic Aerobics exercises with stretching.

KAHANI Suno Live Activity was enjoyed by everyone with the story "LAKSHMAN KO RAVAN KI SEEKH".
Our little girls could relate the teachings of Ramayana with the present scenario of pandemic. This Kahani reinforced the importance of recognising our strengths and weaknesses and positive and negative traits in our inner being. It lays stress on the fact that we should be able to decide which qualities of our character to persue.

On 20th November an online photography contest was organised by Xavier's photography club aka CAPTURRA.
We at MGD, are delightful to announce that the picture clicked by our student Adarshani Chouhan of class 10th-F has been awarded as THE OVERALL BEST PICTURE OF CAPTURRA 2020.
She also received a cash price worth Rs. 800/-.

The "for not for" International debate was organized by The Vijaybhoomi University from the 2nd to the 10th October 2020. There were 130 participants from all over the world and the debate comprised of 4 rounds.
Aanchal Poddar of grade 12 from Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School was declared winner and was rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. One Lakh and a 100% scholarship at the University.

The Mayo College, Ajmer hosted the ‘Namaste Europe 2020’ from 26th September to 26th October. It went on for a month. Our school participated in the French language events namely French Declamation, French Reading, Spell bee, Francophone quiz, French Solo Song and French Poetry Recitation. It was an international event where about 100 schools participated. Avantika Bansal from our school participated in French Declamation and secured the 3rd position in her event.
