MGD participated in "SRIJANYAM" Fest 2020

HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS !!

MGD participated in "SRIJANYAM" , an Online Inter School Art & Design Fest 2020 hosted by Assam Valley School .The Theme of the event was "Unlocking creativity in the new normal ".Total 41 schools participated in the fest.Our girls participated in all 8 events and secured 3 positions. .The list of the events are as follows:

Sangam Fest 2020

Sangam School, Bhilwara, organized Sangam Fest on August 30 and 31. Various competitions like Turncoat Debate, Talk Show, Poetry Recitation, Debate were organized for junior and senior students. Students from MGD School participated in almost all competitions.

Ridhima Magon from class XI participated in the Turncoat Debate on the topic ‘Alternative Medicine: Pros and Cons”. The topic was given half an hour prior and she had to speak for 3 minutes.

Glendale Literature Fest

A 3-day event took place from 26th-28th August 2020. It comprised of a plethora of events. MGD participated in 5 events namely- Comic Strip Writing, Declamation, Vocabulary Challenge, Blog Writing and Dramatic Monologue.

The fest saw a participation of over 40 schools and about 800 participants from all over India.

Agrima Bhatt from class 8th-D secured the 3rd position in Declamation.

Hubs of Learning

Albert Einstein said “Art is the expression of the profoundest thoughts in the simplest way”.

The first virtual meeting of Hubs of Learning was organized on August 28, 2020. The agenda for the discussion was Art Integrated Learning, a new initiative by CBSE to make teaching and learning more joyful, implement learning outcomes and enable all stakeholders to follow Competency Based Education.

MGD School, Jaipur hosted a session on Art Integrated Learning on 26th August 2020 curated by Mr Kalyan Singh Rathore, a sculptor and artist par excellence.

Virtual All India Inter School IPSC Debate in English

MGD Girls’ School, Jaipur celebrated its 77th Birthday on 11th Aug 2020 As a mark of reverence to its founder the Late Her Highness Gayatri Devi Sahiba of Jaipur, a visionary organised a Virtual All India Inter School IPSC Debate in English.
