The Basant Panchami Prize Distribution Ceremony at Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, held on 2 February 2026, was a proud celebration of achievement, excellence, and learning.

The ceremony honoured students for their outstanding performance across academics, co-curricular activities, leadership, and service to the school community. Special recognition was also given to student volunteers from various clubs and to young leaders who demonstrated exceptional commitment during initiatives such as LEAD-I 2.0.

Observed in the spirit of Basant Panchami, the programme commenced on a spiritual note with the chanting of a Sanskrit shlok and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. The campus resonated with cultural vibrance through a soulful Indian classical musical presentation by the school orchestra and a graceful classical dance performance depicting the renewal of nature in spring.

The ceremony concluded with an inspiring address by Director Ma’am, instilling pride, motivation, and renewed academic zeal, leaving the audience enriched by a harmonious blend of cultural heritage and student excellence.
