Values of service were always ingrained in the ethos of MGD. This took the form of a club in June 2013, under the name, Community Service Club, Parmartham with the motto-“हस्तस्य भूषणं दानं”. The school, a forerunner in giving back to the community in the form of services as well as materials, commenced its endeavors and led several donation drives to help the disaster victims at the time of Uttarakhand floods. This enterprise continued during Kashmir and Kerala Floods, as well as at the time of Nepal Earthquake. Students from our school have been associated with NGOs like “Jagriti”, “Back to School”, “Netraheen Kalyan Parishad”, “ChildLine”, “Smile Foundation” and “IDF”. As a part of the Community Service Activities, our girls reach out to the under privileged children, provide food and stationery and play with them and indulge with them in fun activities. During summer camp in May-June, our students also teach the under privileged children and try to help in improving their Skills, Personality and Confidence. We also work with Old Age Home and spend time with the inmates and support them emotionally and financially.
