Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School proudly celebrates an exceptional milestone at the Summer Book Writing Festival (SBWF) 2026, India's premier book-writing and publishing festival for school students, organised by EducationWorld and BriBooks.

With the visionary initiative of Mrs. Archana S. Mankotia and the dedicated efforts of the Department of English, 562 students from Classes III–XII participated in this prestigious programme. Together, they are authoring 750 books, with 204 students already becoming published authors.

Adding to this proud achievement, MGD Girls' School has been honoured with the prestigious Literary Leadership Award for its outstanding contribution to nurturing young authors.
