Discovering the Science of Sound
Our Grade 4 students explored the fascinating world of sound through a hands-on science experiment to investigate how sounds are produced by vibrating sources.
Using everyday materials such as plastic wrap, elastic bands, rice grains, jars, metal trays, wooden spoons, pencils, and tuning forks, students observed how vibrations create sound and travel through different materials, including cloth and water. The activity encouraged scientific inquiry, observation, and experiential learning while bringing classroom concepts to life.
At MGD, we inspire young minds to explore, experiment, and discover through meaningful learning experiences.
