On 30 July 2026, MGD Girls’ School, in collaboration with the Civil Rights and Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Rajasthan Police Headquarters, organised a one-day seminar on Human Trafficking at the Rajasthan Police Academy Auditorium, marking the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

A team of 26 MGD students, including members of the DM&SDG Club and Humanities stream, actively participated in discussions on human trafficking, child labour, bonded labour, cyber safety, and drug abuse, sharing thoughtful perspectives on the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.

A special presentation by Ms. Neelanjana Rajawat, MGD alumna (Batch 2017), explored “Use of GIS and Remote Sensing in Human Trafficking,” highlighting how geospatial technologies can support efforts to identify vulnerable areas and combat trafficking.

With participation from 81 students across three schools and approximately 450 Rajasthan Police Academy cadets, the seminar proved to be an enriching learning experience, inspiring young people to become responsible citizens and advocates against exploitation.

The collaborative initiative also reflected SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting the power of collective action in creating a safer and more responsible society.
