MGD Girls School implemented Project CACA

A safety programme for school covering all stakeholders to keep our students Happy, Healthy and Safe. Various online sessions were conducted to sensitize the teachers, non-teaching & support staff and parents. Project CACA Domain: Safety | Mental Health/Mental Well-Being | Gender Equality/Equity/Parity | Child rights | Emotional intelligence/Quotient | Health and Hygiene | Morals/Constitutional Values/Ethics Reference: The Gazette Of India: Extraordinary Notification Of 9th March, 2020 By Ministry Of Women And Child Development On Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences Rules, 2020 Sub-Rule (1) And (6) Of Rule 3 - “Awareness Generation And Capacity Building.” “One can spend a lifetime trying to forget a few moments of one’s childhood.” Project CACA is a school-driven, child-centric, preventive and holistic project that creates a safety net for children from abuses by involving Students, Teachers, Parents and Support staff. The project initiates a series of dialogues and behaviour changes among all the stakeholders on child rights, gender equality and child abuse prevention to keep our children happy, healthy and safe. The project has been developed with the help of Academicians, Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Judges, lawyers, and School Counsellors. It has evolved under a democratic chain of events like Opinion Polls, Focus Group Discussions, Conventions, Consensus Building Discussions and a Pilot Programme and continuously evolves through assessment.
