INTACH FILMIT FEST

The 16th INTACH FILMIT FESTIVAL was hosted by The Palace School, Jaipur on 6th February 2024. It was attended by teacher in-charges and Filmit Club students of 15 schools of Jaipur. The Chief Guest for the fest was Dr Rima Hooja, a renowned archaeologist and leading historian of Rajasthan. She is an alumna of MGD. The occasion was graced by eminent educationist Ms Rama Dutt and Ms Urvashi Warman, Principal, The Palace School.

The fest commenced with lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana followed by welcoming of esteemed guests. Students from different schools shared their varied experiences of exploring the art of filmmaking. Tridha Pandya, IX C and Lakshita Dhandharia, VII E shared their exquisite experience of short film making. Selected award-winning short films of Filmit Club members across India were showcased.

MGD won the award for Best Narration for the film ‘Paryushana’ and Best Cinematography for the film ‘Khanakta Khazana’.The Fest was attended by Filmit Club in-charge Mrs Neetu Mathur and members Tridha Pandya, Gunita Verma, Lakshita Dhandaria, Gargi Khosla, Hrithvi Jain and Sunidhi Bansal. The event was conducted by INTACH team Ms Swati and Ms Vaishnavi. The fest energised the students to pursue their passion for filmmaking ardently.
