The IPSC Conclave on Leadership* hosted by Daly College, Indore, was an engaging three-day event that brought together students and educators from 17 different schools.
The conclave aimed to provide a platform for discussion, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices in leadership. With a focus on developing effective leaders within the school system, this event welcomed participants eager to enhance their leadership skills and strategies.
The first day of the conclave commenced with a formal inauguration, featuring welcoming remarks from the principal of Daly College. The day's highlight was the keynote addresses delivered by esteemed leader in the world of music Mr. Anil Srinivasana , who underscored the importance of transformational leadership. Topics such as Discover, Explore, Experience and Perseverance for development and the role of emotional intelligence in fostering a supportive environment were explored in-depth.
The day also included interactive plenary designed to establish eagerness to learn and discover things in various fields whether it's corporate sector or defence.
The day ended with principals dinner Shab-e- Malwa.
On the second day, participants engaged in a Mindfulness session early in the morning with Mr. Gaurav Arora and a series of focused workshops aimed at honing leadership skills conducted by Mr. Rakesh Jain. These sessions covered essential topics, including strategies for leading change, empowering students, and effective communication. Participants actively took part in group activities, including leadership simulations that provided practical insights into navigating real-world challenges.
The concluding day of the conclave included capstone presentations where each participating school shared key insights and actionable plans for implementing leadership strategies gained throughout the event. This culminated with the submission of self-reflection reports from every school, detailing the lessons learned, insights gained, and commitments to foster leadership within their communities.
The closing ceremony marked the end of the conclave, with Key note speaker Ms. Ami Ganatra who explained the importance of aatma jaya and self discipline in life through Mahabharata. Later on the participants were presented with certificates of achievement, reinforcing their commitment to the ongoing development of leadership within their schools. The event concluded with encouragement to maintain the connections formed and to pursue collaborative initiatives beyond the conclave.
The experience was not only enriching but also provided students with the chance to interact with peers from different schools, fostering camaraderie and understanding.
