Ms Karnika Mahindra , alumna of MGD Girls' School, batch of 2014 conducted an interactive session with students of class 9 on the importance of eating right for a fit and healthy body.
Ms Karnika has completed her BSc in food and nutrition from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi and has assisted the famous celebrity dietitian Ms Rujuta Diwekar.
Ms Karnika shared valuable information on topics like PCOD, weight gain and deficiencies in teenage girls. She also shared that the best food habits and practices are the ones that were followed by our grandmothers. The ancient Indian food practices are the healthiest and are now acclaimed globally. She implored the students to stay away from packed and junk food as it leads to tremendous harm to the human body.
