School Assembly followed by Honours and rewards, voices of leadership, pledges of conservation, and the brilliance of young minds.

“The honours and rewards fall to those who show their good qualities in action.” — Aristotle

On the morning of 18 July, the Assembly struck a lively note with the Head Girl's uplifting speech setting the tone for the rest of the Assembly. A highlight of the assembly was administering the Dolphin Conservation Pledge that made each one promise to protect and save marine life, especially the Gangetic Dolphins. This was followed by an oral rapid-fire quiz, a recent initiative by The Quiz Warriors Club whose participants were felicitated by the Director of MGD. Faces beamed with pride as the assembly moved on to recognise various student achievements, including participation in the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Examination, the Social Service Summer Camp and commending academic excellence with the Scholar Badges. The students left with a renewed sense of inspiration and a determination to stand among the next group of honorees.
