BSAI Student Leadership Conclave 2025

MGD Girls’ School at the BSAI Student Leadership Conclave 2025 at Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun

A delegation of four Class XI students — Samaira Thapliyal, Ancika Tekriwal, Dishita Agarwal, and Aloka Vaijnath — represented MGD Girls’ School at the prestigious BSAI Student Leadership Conclave 2025 hosted by Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun from 18-20 July 2025.

The conclave brought together student leaders from across the country for an immersive experience in leadership training, self-reflection, and collaborative learning. Through inspiring keynote addresses and interactive workshops, students were encouraged to explore the essence of leadership rooted in sacrifice, self-discipline, and humility.

Eminent speakers such as Mr. Rashid Sharfuddin, Ms. Sangeeta Kain, Dr. Sanjeev Chopra, Ms. Ritika Uniyal, Mr. Philip Burnett, and others, shared insights on themes like self-leadership, servant leadership, compassion, community, and commitment. Sessions encouraged students to view challenges as opportunities and emphasized the importance of resilience, ethical conduct, and setting an example through action.

One of the key takeaways was that true leadership is not defined by position but by character — by listening, lifting others, and leading with empathy. Through thought-provoking activities, peer discussions, and leadership exercises, students gained valuable tools for personal growth and community engagement.

The conclave also offered a platform for creative expression, lively debates, and shared reflections, helping participants build lasting friendships and a stronger sense of purpose.

This enriching experience left the MGD delegation deeply inspired, better equipped to lead, and more committed to the values of integrity, courage, and service — the cornerstones of meaningful leadership.
