Inter-School Science Congress

MGD Girls' School actively participated in the Inter-School Science Congress hosted by St Xaviers' School , Jaipur on 24th and 25th of July, 2025. The two-day event was centered around the theme "Think, Create and Evolve, encouraging students to embrace innovation, inquiry, and creativity. The participants were-

2) Jahnvi Singh - XII-B

3) Samriddhi Vaid- XII-A

4) Navya Chauraria- XI-A

5) Kinjal Gupta- XI-A

6) Damini- XII-B

Day 1 :

The event commenced with an inspiring address by Reverend Father Nelson , who emphasized the significance of questioning, creativity and the evolving nature of scientific thought. His speech set the tone for the rest of the event. Following the inauguration, the competitions on Day 1 included:

1. Forensic Investigation – A scientific problem-solving activity.

2. Science Hackathon / Model Making – Where participants showcased innovative scientific models.

3. Poster Making – The topic was *"Robots and the Future"*, focusing on AI and automation's impact on tomorrow's world.

Day 2 :

The second day brought new challenges and fun learning experiences in the form of the following events:

1. Scavenger Hunt – A thrilling clue-based event spread across the campus.

2. Science Quiz – Conducted in two unique and engaging rounds:

(a) Round 1: Scientists & Impostor – Each team had to identify the impostor from the other team in a single guess.

(b) Round 2: Chemical Compound Building – Teams had to form valid compounds using given elements.

We are proud to report that *MGD Girls' School won First Prize in the Scavenger Hunt .

Our students demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and scientific acumen throughout the event. Participation in such events not only enhances scientific temperament but also fosters collaboration and innovation. The students were guided and mentored by Ms. Sushma Somani and were accompanied by Ms. Harsha Singh and Ms Nidhi Sharma.
