The Prep Section at MGD Girls’ School marked a proud milestone with the first ever Inter-House Cricket Tournament, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Director Mgd Girls’ School Mrs. Archana S. Mankotia and attended by distinguished dignitaries including Principal Mrs. Pramendra Khangarot, Administrative Officer Colonel S.S. Sangwan, Sports Coordinator Ms. Monika Mathur and Prep Coordinator Ms. Sunita Rathore.
The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from all four houses — Helen Keller, Florence Nightingale, Sarojini Naidu, and Madam Curie.
The first match between Helen Keller House and Florence Nightingale House kicked off with energy and excitement, with Helen Keller House emerging as the winner. Bhuvi Malik was declared the Player of the Match for her commendable all-round performance.
In the second match, Madam Curie House triumphed over Sarojini Naidu House, with Sarya Sahu shining as the Player of the Match, impressing everyone with her cricketing skills.
The playground was alive with cheers and chants from enthusiastic classmates and teachers. The live commentary added a fun and engaging twist, keeping the audience entertained with light humour and exciting updates from the field.
The entire atmosphere was filled with laughter and encouragement making it a joyful and vibrant sporting celebration.
