In a collective effort to nurture environmental consciousness among young minds, a Plantation Drive was conducted on 5th August 2025 at MGD Girls' School, organized by the Community Service Club in collaboration with the NGO Ugam Sansthan.

More than 21 diverse and valuable saplings were planted within the school premises by the students themselves, transforming words into action. The selection of saplings included fruit-bearing and environmentally significant species such as Ficus, Barbados Pride, Terminalia, Moulsary, Mango, Sweet Lime, Chickoo.

The Plantation Drive served not only as a practical environmental activity but also as a living classroom for the students.

This initiative wasn’t just about planting trees — it was about sowing the seeds of awareness, unity, and responsibility as we believe - “To plant a tree is to believe in tomorrow.”

The event was a step towards a better future — empowering students to be eco-warriors and reminding us all that change begins with a single seed.
