National Sports Day is celebrated every year in India on 29th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary Hockey player widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes in Indian history.

On this day MGD Girls' School organised the much-anticipated Inter house matches of Basketball and Cricket and witnessed a thrilling display of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship as students competed fiercely in the Basketball and Cricket match. Inter house Skating competition was also conducted. The competition was fierce yet friendly, with each participant showcasing their dedication and skill.
