RMIT University Quiz Competition and Masterclasses.

On 1 September 2025, Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School, Jaipur, in collaboration with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia, hosted the RMIT University Quiz Competition and Masterclasses. A total of five schools participated in the event: The Sanskar School, Maheshwari Public School (Pratap Nagar), St. Xavier's School, Cambridge Court, and MGD Girls' School.

The programme commenced with the Director, Mrs. Archana S. Mankotia, welcoming the distinguished faculty from RMIT University, Melbourne, along with Mr. Pawan Solanki, University Admission Counsellor.

This was followed by a welcome address by the Director and an overview of RMIT University delivered by Mr. Abhishek, Regional Head, South Asia, RMIT University.

After the opening ceremony, the participants dispersed for the quiz, while four engaging Masterclasses on STEM & AI, Artificial intelligence & Computer Science , Business & Law and Profile Building,were simultaneously conducted for Classes XI and XII by eminent RMIT academics:

​• Dr. Shekhar Kalra – Senior Lecturer & Program Manager, Apple Foundation Program (Pedagogy Support), School of Computing Technologies

​• Dr. Kevin Argus – MBA Program Director & Senior Lecturer, Design Thinking and Marketing

Essay Writing and Profile Building

​• Mr. Pawan Solanki, University Admission Counsellor, Global Reach

The quiz witnessed spirited participation, with St. Xavier's School emerging as the winners, followed by The Sanskar School and MGD Girls' School in second and third place, respectively.

The event proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, equipping students with valuable insights while guiding them towards informed academic and career choices.

All the sessions were greatly appreciated by the students.
