The day began with a mindfulness activity during assembly and a reminder that Marathon 3.0 stands as a pillar of strength for mental health — a healthy mind in a healthy body.
The highlight was an interactive session by the school counsellor and our first-ever in-house intern, ex-MGDian Nivedita Rajawat, followed by the launch of MGD Life Compass — an in-house self-help app created by Freya (Class X) and inaugurated by our Director, Mrs. Archana S. Mankotia.
Staff members wore green ribbon bows supporting the slogan “Mental health matters — not just today, but always,” while cabinet members proudly donned “My Mental Health Matters” brooches.
The Peer Educators / School Wellness Team (SWT) conducted:
My Mindful Power Flower (Classes VI–VIII)
Letting Go – The Balloon Activity (Classes IX–XII) — fostering reflection, positivity, and emotional balance.
